Beano’s Bet-Builder: Cowboys To Return To Winning Ways
Returning players key to this 6/1 treble as Beano breaks down this vital NFC clash in the Superdome.
Thursday Night Football sees an intriguing battle between two NFC playoff hopefuls looking for a change in fortune as the Dallas Cowboys take on the New Orleans Saints.
Dallas Cowboys
After a hot start, Dallas have now lost three of their last four games, including a disappointing Thanskgiving defeat at the hands of the Raiders. The Cowboys’ have been hampered by injuries of late, which probably expains the dip in form, but things are improving on that front. CeeDee Lamb should be back in the line-up while Amari Cooper could also return. Those two outside threats would be a big boost to an already potent Dallas offense (put up 33 points or more in two of its last three games).
QB Dak Prescott has been red-hot this year and looks set for a big game. The Saints’ defense is one of the worst in the league for passing yards given up to opposing quarterbacks.
New Orleans Saints
After not playing in last week’s blowout defeat to the Bills, Taysom Hill is likely to line up at quarterback for the Saints. The New Orleans offense has struggled with Trevor Siemen as starter since taking over from Jameis Winston after his season ending injury.
Alvin Kamara, Mark Ingram and Ryan Ramczyk are on course to return but with so many changes of personnel, they may need time to gel. By the time they do, Dallas could already be out of sight.
